What types of products can I return for a refund? 

We strive to offer refund options for most games and merchandise you purchase. However, please note that certain items may be marked as "non-refundable" and are not eligible for refunds. For example, items containing skins, virtual currency, or consumables fall into this category. Additionally, refunds are only applicable to purchases made directly on our Website. 

All in-app and downloadable content purchases made through GameKeyVault are eligible for any game-related refunds if the content has not been used, altered, or transferred. Additionally, some purchases may qualify for online self-service refunds. To start the return procedure, access your Account on our Website, select the Account option, go to Transactions, and click on the "Refund" button if the game meets the criteria for a self-service refund. 

When are products eligible for a refund? 

You have a window of 7 days from the purchase date to request a refund for products and games. Please note that the total playtime must be at most two hours to be eligible for a refund. Refunds do not apply to items categorized as "non-refundable," virtual currency, skins, or other consumables. 

Refunds are not granted for games or items if you have been expelled or violated the service rules. Furthermore, if GameKeyVault detects any refund policy abuse, you may be ineligible for refunds. Finally, please be aware that purchases made on the Website cannot be refunded if the Product is of satisfactory quality but does not meet your personal preference or if your computer fails to meet the minimum requirements for using the Product. 

How can I request a refund? 

To request a refund, visit the "Contact Us" section and submit a refund request. For certain purchases, online self-service refunds may be available. Log in to your Account on our Website, navigate to the Account dropdown menu in the top right corner, select Transactions from the tab menu, and click the "Refund" button to initiate the return process if the game is eligible for a self-service refund. 

How will I get my refund? 

Typically, refunds for purchases will be returned to the original payment method utilized during the transaction, but please note that not all payment methods may support this option. You and GameKeyVault may also mutually decide to employ a different approach for issuing the refund. It's important to consider that the timeframe for completing the refund may vary depending on your selected payment method. 

If you reside in the European Union and make a purchase, the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) 2000 may apply to you. In such cases, you have the right to cancel your order within fourteen days from the purchase date and receive a refund. To initiate the cancellation process during this reflection period, kindly contact us in writing promptly after your purchase. Please note that access to the downloaded or used Product is not permitted during this evaluation period. We retain the right to decline refund requests based on such actions. 

What about pre-purchases? 

If the publisher or developer of a game on GameKeyVault establishes an official release date, you can cancel your pre-order at any time before that date and obtain a refund. Additionally, if you haven't played the game for more than two hours following its launch, you can request a refund within 7 days of purchase, provided it is within 48 hours before the game's release or pre-download. 

What if a product I recently purchased goes on sale? 

By complying with the above regulations, you can return your purchase, obtain a full refund, and immediately repurchase the item. We consider this practice fair and not an abuse of the refund policy. If GameKeyVault determines that you are abusing the refund policy, you may not be eligible for refunds. This policy ensures that you can shop confidently, knowing that your funds are allocated exclusively toward the games you genuinely wish to purchase and play.
